An arrangement for women’s choir of this poignant song by Wisconsin-based songwriter and entertainer Stuart Stotts. The singer recalls a grandfather who brought a silver coin for each new grandchild in the family. Three part vocals and piano (or guitar), but predominantly unison and two-part vocal writing. Commissioned by John Hersey High School’s “Ladies First.”
