This adaptation of the Gabriel Fauré Pavane for Orchestra, Op. 50, is influenced by the lilting sound of the Bach arrangements of Ward Swingle.   Perfect for a chamber choir or vocal jazz ensemble.  It starts and ends beautifully and tastefully, but the middle ventures into a syncopated rock feel with vocal percussion in the bass section.
