Three-part mixed vocals.
Written for a festival uniting high school and middle school ensembles, “Father Grumble” is a three-part arrangement of an old American folk-song. An old man bets his wife that he can do more work than her in a day; things go comically badly for him. The refrain is newly written for this arrangement. A great chart for festival choirs and other choral groups junior high and older. It’s got a quirky piano part for your accompanist who is tired of “predictable boom-chuck!”
