SATB div. and rhythm section.
A dynamic SATB (with some divisi) arrangement of the pop classic for choir. An opening solo gives way to vocal harmonies and a dramatic key change into a final section infused with a touch of gospel and blues flavor. The verses in this arrangement are kept moving by selectively trimming some of the measures between vocal phrases, and filling others with background vocals and/or echoes of the melodic material, so there are no awkward “stand and wait” pauses between lines.
Rhythm section pack ($40.00) includes parts for 2 trumpets, alto sax, tenor sax, trombone, guitar, bass, drums, synthesizer, auxiliary percussion, and piano along with a full score. Vocal cues are included in the score for reference.
