A co-commission of Lincoln-Way Central High School Chorale and the Libertyville High School Concert Choir, premiered to an enthusiastic reception at the 2008 Illinois Music Educators Association state convention.

Never taking itself too seriously, it takes the lion on a journey through Africa for some mbira-inspired grooves, Ireland for a jig, Jamaica for a little bit of reggae, and finally settles down into some classic doo-wop. Lots of fun, but with enough surprises to keep things interesting. The sections can be performed separately or out of order if desired.
